Another Record Breaking Year For The Swale Business Awards

Written by Wesley Horan on 31st July 2019

The Swale Business Awards have continued their record-breaking trend of the last several years by closing the 2019 awards with a record number of applicants.

In total, 52 businesses from across the borough decided to ‘throw their hat into the ring’ for the 2019 awards.

After much deliberation, the judging panel have whittled the list down to 23 finalists.

Brian Carey, Chair of the Awards, discussed the quality of applicants received:

“I was completely blown away by the calibre of the businesses that have entered this year. Certainly it was the toughest shortlisting process that I have ever been involved in. There were a number of applicants that I think in previous years would have been finalists, but because this year the quality was so high they just missed out on making the final shortlist.

“I am absolutely delighted that so many businesses throughout Faversham, Sheppey and Sittingbourne see the value of the Swale Business Awards and are so keen to show everyone else the fabulous work that they have been doing. I think the Swale Business Awards provide a phenomenal platform for raising the profile of local businesses.”

The finalists for the 2019 awards are as follows:

  • 3D Displays
  • A2 Tyre Supplies
  • AbBaltis
  • BB4 Hospitality
  • Burden Bros Agri
  • Computer Rescue
  • Cucumber Catering
