PlantWorks Continues to Grow

Winners of 2016’s Judge’s Special Award at the Swale Business Awards; Kent Science Park-based PlantWorks have ambitious growth plans for 2017.

Since winning the award in October, they have been focused on promoting their products to the Agricultural and Horticultural sectors, whilst the science team have been working hard to extend their product range for specific crop types.

PlantWorks are also keen to expand the business in all areas, fully utilising their experienced research and development team. PlantWorks’ Technical Manager Natallia Gulbis said: “We are also exploring new markets and channels to get our products to consumers in Europe and beyond. In addition we are involved in a number of ongoing research projects and look forward to being involved in more throughout 2017.”

Natallia also spoke about her involvement in the 2016 Swale Business Awards “We really enjoyed being part of the business award process and it has been a great boost for the Plantworks team. Winning the award felt fantastic, as it was great to know that people appreciate and support the work we do. Winning the award has inspired us to try bigger and better things.”

The application itself was straightforward and we really enjoyed the whole process. As our own business continues to evolve and develop we definitely plan to enter again next year, so hopefully we’ll see you in the finals!”
