“Design Experienced” is the business slogan for CS One Design, and the business certainly lives up to that slogan.
For over 25 years the company has been an active member of the Swale Business community, operating from their Studio at Historic Tonge Mill. Providing graphic and web design services to businesses in Kent, throughout the UK and worldwide; the company constantly strives to improve the “Design Experienced” by their clients.
Under the creative direction of Adam Larking, CS One Design has grown steadily over the last three years. Adam remarked: “Our design team are encouraged to quickly embrace new technologies and react to latest market trends enabling us compete at the highest levels”.
The company’s technological savvy extends beyond the service provided for their customers. Over the last 12 months they have designed & developed a Cloud-Based System, which manages every aspect of their business from Enquiry to Invoicing. The system allows the team to “work smarter”, with the ability to monitor, report and analyse every aspect of a project. This has resulted in increased productivity and profitability.
The one area that has been challenging for the company was recruitment. Having found that graduates and school leavers were not leaving full time education with the necessary skills required, the company implemented comprehensive, “live-project” training and has embraced a Government Apprentice Scheme taking on their first apprentice to specialise in SEO & Social Media Marketing.
They recruit staff, shop locally and support local good causes. They do not employ sales reps, use middle-men, make unsolicited sales calls, send junk mail or outsource design.
