Sometimes a business needs a bit of magic to be a success, and magic is what The Cleaning Fairy brings to the competitive world of Domestic, Commercial and Holiday Let cleaning. The Faversham-based business was founded in 2009 and has now grown to the point where it is employing 14 members of staff providing cleaning services throughout Swale, Canterbury, Whitstable and Herne Bay.
Since winning the Judge’s Special Award at the 2015 Swale Business Awards, the business has gone from strength-to-strength. Director Tracy May discussed the development of her business “Our business has been flourishing with both domestic clients and holiday lets. Our clients are extremely important to us and whether we’re cleaning a five-star holiday let or a one bedroom house you will receive the same quality of high level of service in cleaning and customer care.”
The holiday lettings side of the business has increased greatly and The Cleaning Fairy have adapted their service on this side to incorporate adding more value to their customers. They now supply 100% white Egyptian cotton linen to relieve stress from owners and also do towel art and folded toilet rolls to make sure the guest receives a special treat. They also offer a service where they make up welcome packs for the guest so they can expect fresh bread, milk, wine and cakes upon their arrival.
Tracy thinks that The Cleaning Fairy is a prime candidate for Swale Business of the Year. She said: “I feel that the Cleaning Fairy deserves to win an award this year as we work tirelessly to make sure our clients always receive a high quality service. We invest in all our cleaners and train them, and we are always investigating ways we can improve our service and continue to provide a good working environment. Be named the 2016 Swale Business of the Year would give our staff the credit they deserve for making The Cleaning Fairy so successful.”
