Our next entrant for the 2018 awards is Kesson Physio. Despite having been operating for 35 years now, this is the first time that Kesson Physio has entered the Swale Business Awards.
Company Director Denise Riggs explained why she felt that her business was in a good place to enter the 2018 awards: “Kesson Physio are Faversham’s longest standing and largest physiotherapy provider. We are a family business now in our second family generation of ownership. We are a local business that strives to be ‘World Famous in Kent’ and are proud to be considered Faversham’s ‘go to’ physio provider.”
Kesson Physio provides thousands of customers with accurate diagnosis, treatment and education for a number of conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological and on-going pain. They are also proud to provide Occupational Health Physiotherapy services to businesses in Faversham, as well as offering fitness and rehabilitation classes such as Pilates, yoga, spin and kettle bell.
Denise set out why she felt Kesson Physio should win an award: “Our team of physios and support staff are committed to providing the best service possible to our customers and they also deserve recognition for what they contribute to our local community. We are passionate about physiotherapy and the benefits it brings and could not be prouder of the positive impact we have had to nearly 10,000 of Faversham and East Kent’s residents since we started. Our services are there to help create a healthier local community, by helping them to move better and live better.”
Denise went on to say that a key part of their success is the investment they make in their people. Kesson Physio provides all its therapists with a comprehensive continual professional development plan, which includes in service and external training, where they fund our employees to attend relevant external courses. They frequently reward their employees with surprise gifts when they have helped the business to performing well.
