In its second year of operation, The Shisha Bar has quickly become a standout attraction in Sheerness. Visiting The Shisha Bar offers customers delicious cocktails, shakes and hot drinks, accompanied with a shisha pipe – which is a middle eastern hookah pipe releasing herbal flavours.
Owner Rajan Musha is extremely proud of having opened the first Shisha lounge in Swale. He discussed his approach to business: “We are the only shisha lounge in the whole of Swale, offering something different from any other pub or bar in the area. We offer table service and a relaxing atmosphere. We also offer venue hire and VIP hire and have developed a great corporate package with our neighbour Mr India, where businesses can bring their employees for a meal in Mr India, followed by a cocktail and a shisha in The Shisha Bar.”
It’s not just at his own premises that Rajan is promoting the social aspects of shisha, he also hires out his shisha pipes for corporate or private functions, including nightclubs. Due to the success of The Shisha Bar, Rajan has also been involved with other shisha businesses setting up across Kent. Rajan discussed this, along with why he feels that he deserves to be recognised at the 2018 Swale Business Awards:
“We are first shisha bar in the Swale, we have become the most talked about venue by being different. We provide entertainment for Swale locals and a unique atmosphere to enjoy with family and friends. Due to our hard work at creating a demand for shisha, I have been involved with setting up shisha lounges in Gillingham and Sittingbourne. I think that bringing something new to the Swale community should be recognised at the Swale Business Awards.”
