Based in the heart of Sheerness, Taste of India has been providing customers with delicious Indian cuisine for the last 27 years. With a team of four, the business creates authentic Indian food that can be picked up or delivered to the customers directly.
Led by Sajjad Rahman, the thriving business has embraced technology as a means to sell its products to customers. Sajjad elaborated: “We are the only Indian food outlet in Swale with our own App, rather than just online ordering via a third party platform. Our goal is to give our customers direct access to us which will allow us to offer our customers the best possible pricing.”
Technological developments are at the forefront of Sajjad’s business, as he is utilising social media and direct messaging to keep in touch with his regular customer base and keep them apprised of new deals and offers. He is currently working with other local businesses to develop a customer discount scheme, which will allow Taste of India’s customers to benefit from discounts from a variety of different outlets.

We are the only local Indian food outlet to have our own Android and iOS Apps! I think our use of technology makes us a leader in our sector for this area.”
